What is Curima?

Curima is a learning platform that helps you understand and remember complex topics by building visual "memory webs" of interconnected ideas.

How is a "memory web" different from a mind map?

Mind maps are great for brainstorming. Memory webs are optimized for *learning*: they organize concepts into nodes and links you can zoom, tag, and revisit to strengthen recall and spot connections across subjects.

Who is Curima for?

Curious learners, students, and professionals who want to learn faster and retain more—starting with STEM topics.

Which subjects are available?

Early topics include Evolutionary Biology, Quantum Mechanics, Game Theory, Statistics (Intro), Earth Sciences (Intro), Cell Biology, Electrical Engineering (Intro), Relativity Theory, and Combinatorics. More are added over time.

Do I need any prior knowledge?

No. Each topic includes guided "on-ramps" and analogies to build intuition before you dive into details.

Does Curima use AI?

Yes—for suggestions, retrieval cues, and adaptive practice. We do not use your personal content for third-party advertising, and we do not train third-party models on your personal content. We may use aggregated, de-identified data to improve features.

Is my data private?

Yes. Memory webs are private by default unless you choose to share them. See our Privacy Policy for details.

Can I share or collaborate?

You can keep webs private, share read-only, or invite collaborators (e.g., a teacher, tutor, or teammate) with permissions you control.

Can children use Curima?

Yes, with verifiable parental consent (or a school acting as the parent's agent for educational use). Parents can review, delete, or revoke consent—see the Privacy Policy for instructions.

Is there a free plan?

Yes. Explore content for free. Pro adds advanced features and more subjects.

How much does Pro cost?

Pro starts at $10/month with a 7-day free trial. Cancel anytime before the trial ends to avoid charges.

How do billing and cancellations work?

Subscriptions renew monthly. You can cancel anytime in settings to stop future renewals. For billing questions, email support@curima.com.

Can I import or export my notes?

Yes. You can export your memory webs to common formats (e.g., image or structured file) so you can review or back them up elsewhere.

What devices and browsers are supported?

Curima works on modern desktop and mobile browsers. Keep your browser up to date for the best experience.

Is Curima accessible?

We aim for WCAG AA: keyboard navigation, readable typography, clear contrast, and descriptive labels. If you spot an accessibility issue, tell us at support@curima.com.

I'm an educator. Do you support classrooms?
